The recent WannaCry / Wanna Crypt0r worm breakout has proved one thing and one thing only: that the civilian use of encryption must be eradicated to ensure the peace and security of the world's computers.

In today's increasingly technology-dependent world, it is not hard to imagine if in, say, 10 more years when a similar worm as Wanna Decryptor strikes again, and literally cripples the whole world, from the biggest banks to the most insignificant traffic lamp around the corner.

It is thus crucial, and absolutely essential, that the civilian use of encryption be outlawed and eradicated immediately. If criminals cannot legally get hold of encryption, then ransomware, as a whole class of malware, will simply disappear from existence.
