As someone who is a longtime wikipedia editor I can tell you without a doubt that Indians are the single worst group of people on that website. Far, far worse than kids in school who just replace an entire page with "ryan is gay" and even worse than political idiots who do nothing but come to wikipedia to "right great wrongs", or something, and the reason is that we're forced to accommodate them. With the kids it's the most simple - usually a bot will revert whatever they've done and their school gets ip blocked for a couple of months. The political idiots are easy to spot and inevitably will end up edit warring themselves off the site - but the thing with Indians is that the content they create is fucking trash, but it's trash that you can't throw out.

Every single page created by or about an Indian person I've ever seen has been in some way promoting themselves or their business. They use the worst fucking sources, can't format pages for shit and have a fucking shit-flinging aneurysm whenever you try to talk to them about the quality of what they're doing. From experience, even when I spent hours taking the effort to go through a page and clean it up, removing all the promotional content and checking all the sources (most of which were also links to similarly promotional websites created by Indians), inevitably a couple of months later I'll return to the same page to find all of my work deleted.

I never used to hold any sort of racial bias before I started editing Wikipedia, but now whenever the topic of India comes up I'll grimace a little and be reminded of how much they're fucking ruining the internet.

I was in a non tech liberal arts program in undergrad. Literally no Indians except maybe one or two and they were Americanized. Grad school comes around, go into tech related program full of Indians.
