Happened to me on Windows 10. Well this pop up didn't happen, but I randomly had chromium on my desktop one day.

It's on your computer because you installed it you retard. Also chromium isn't a virus. It's an open source browser. The adware you have bundled a modified version of chromium in with itself so it could attempt to scare you into using chromium and then inject ads in your browsing / phone home with your credentials.

Quit being a fucking retard. Fix your shit. If you can post here you can easily google and find the solution.

no. i saw chromium day in and out at bull shit repair big name brand. many fuckwads will use modified chromium that is just spamming adware in and out. 99% of the time the chromium was located in their roaming appdata to get around admin rights and uninstalling from appwiz.

not saying this is exactly your case but plz check there and also chromium is not a virus retard, just something a pajeet can compile with his adware extensions

idk it's usually some random shit you got to dig through. worst case go to malwarebytes site and download adwcleaner and 99% chance that and malwarebytes will assblast that thing for you

I believe I found it actually. WB.CFG file. I searched it and supposedly it's an update spoofer for malware. If this thread never comes back up, then that was that.
