My CPU is Roasting!?! Also Newbie

Hey, first up, my knowledge in computers is limited.

I bought a computer from a company 8 months ago. Has a i7 6700k cpu in it.

Everything has run perfectly since today. This morning I booted it up, and the fans were loud. I loaded my usual apps. But after about 10 minutes, the fans wouldn't slow down, so I checked an app, image related. said my cpu was 94 Degrees.

I turned off my computer immediately. I turned it back on, I got the message "cpu over temperature error" press f1 to continue.

The menu said my cpu was 89 Degrees Celcius.

Turned off computer once again. Removed power cord. Started to clean the machine. I noticed that the CPU fan was cool, but the metal part that attaches to the cpu was really hot.

I didn't remove any core pieces, just the removable side cases, and dust frames.

Started computer once again. Check temperature. .47 Degrees. Woo, that must have been it. Watch for 20 minutes, just to see if theres any difference in temperature. No change. Load Chrome. Spike of temperature 93 Degrees. Close Chrome. still 93 Degrees. Has been for the past 15 minutes as I'm writing this.

People have been telling me, might be the Cooler, might be the CPU, might be the normal temperature for an i7, might be a virus.
I actually have no clue.

I have 24 months warranty.
Only 8 months have passed.
