Windows 10 at launch with fairly wonky, but somehow Microsoft just keep making it worse! How? The creators update was a massive piece of shit, and so was the anniversary update before that.

it's just impossible for them because A. they need to settle on one design system instead of chasing every fad and implementing every system and it's elements in their OS, and B. their development cycle and version lifespans are fucked, just fucked. somehow it's both too fast and too slow. but the one thing for certain, design just can't stabilize in 6 months they have before fucking it all up and scrambling new and old again
