Snapdragon is more than fast enough, has GOAT battery life (2-3 days of use), but top and bottom are plastic. Rom support is also much better for Snapdragon.

So far I've been stuck with a windows phone for the past year and a half. I've been looking at possibly the OnePlus 3T but apparently they're going to release a new phone soon. I was also looking at the Honor 8 recently because of some good deals but dislike phones made of glass due to durability. I'm really just looking for something which will last me at least 2 years relatively smoothly.

I'm currently in China, and for a long time I've been looking for a phone with long battery life (not only large battery, also no unnecessarily high end hardware which consumes tons) and a decent cam in the price range of around 300-500$ .

Because I'm in China xiaomi is attractive because they have more models here and are bit cheaper.
