Sony has always been my favourite manufacturer when it comes to design. Their TVs are by far the past looking, headphones look pretty cool and Vaio looked better than most laptops at the time.

Xperia lineup is by far the best looking smartphones.

Shame their good design is not backed with actual chops. Their camera sucks major balls and their UI is arguably as bad as TouchWiz.

Also I don't know about the situation in the US but their after sales service in here and Singapore is a horrifying experience.

Xperia's android is as close to stock as you can get from big manufacturers without going with a jewgle phone. I wouldn't even put it in the same league as touchjizz

If they kept the Xperia Z1 case and upgraded its internals itd still look better than most phones nowadays despite being years old

Sony has been doing high-end hifi since the 60's, which is exactly the aesthetic that phone manufacturers try to emulate. Sharp Aquos Crystal is another great looking phone.
