When was the last time you cleaned your fan? Just a few minutes ago for me.
Dust actually protects your hardware from goyim spies. One flock of dust a day keeps pajeets away.

Next weekend. Always next weekend.
>>60341430
Only when I hit unreasonable high temps. So, never actually.
>>60341430
Just last week. Dismantled my whole rig, dusted everything, new thermal paste, whole nine yards.
Definitely due for an upgrade though, my 2500k is showing its age.
fans are ok
It's the vacuum that needs cleaning
fucking stinks

I try to blow the dust out once a month. Most times I forget and it happens every six months.
A few years ago. My case has filters, so I'm sure it's not too bad in there.
Last time I had it open was because my gpu temps were high. It was a thermal paste issue, not dust.

Just now anon thanks to you.

Never,I actually did not buy bullshit GAYMER case for 300$ with no dust filters.
I just take filter, punch it once at balcony, computer is clean.
35$ well spend on case.
My case doesnt have these fancy new dust filters most cases have, how good are those at keeping these cool tempered glass cases dust free?
I've had this same i5 2500k build for 6 years now and I've given up cleaning it. Every other year I pull it out of it's desk slot and crack it open expecting it to be full of garbage but the inside still looks fresh out of box.
A combination of low fan speeds, suspending to RAM standby at night, a fractal design case with removable filters, and getting it off the floor seem to have eliminated all reason of bothering to clean it before it's obsolete.

What case?
>>60341430
holy shit that looks awful
I used to have a desk with a drawer and my keyboard was in that drawer
I would often eat at my desk and bring food over the keyboard. Over the course of several years it accumulated crumbs, fingernails and other random junk.
Yesterday, I took the keys off one by one cleaned the whole board, and wiped each individual key one at a time as I put it back on. Looks freaking brand new now.
I won't buy a case that doesn't have filters on all vents. My OCD even hates the mesh holes at the back of cases.
Just make it solid!

Did the same, keyboard worked never again.
I clean all my fans when I refresh my thermal paste, which is every Saturday night.
>>60342423
well I didn't wash the keyboard with water, I just used a can of compressed air and brought it into my neighbor's driveway to clean all the gunk out
how could your break yours unless you literally soaked it in water?
>>60342434
Well my was impossible to clean normally because i m such pig and it was all sticky
My sperm+soda+cheese+eggs+many other things
I had to use water and then bleach my hands after touching it.
Now I simply buy new keyboard each year for few bucks and give the old one away to some poor kid
