I was only memeing pic related. I'm actually another 8350 owner.
They were reporting spikes on temps. So sounded like under no real load it would spiral out of control.
Even delids were said to have the issue. So I'm guessing it's software/ sensor problems.
I suspect that's not quite the case, but rather the paste they used under the spreader turning to shit. We'll know more in about 2 months should that be it. As casual users will start seeing the problem.

Not yet. I did start fucking around till I bricked and forgot how to set up my RAID 0 till I could get to a google.
Couldn't get anything stable, I do have concerns my chip got raped on the first dead board it was on. Heatsink got to ouch burnies levels without post.

I need to research what all the clock options are. But still can't find an adequate resource.
I'd like 4.4Ghz - 4.5Ghz.
But I'll be going ryzen soonish, so not that much of a concern. Only got this rig in November.

Op I don't think it's worth that extra 200 mhz . You won't see a noticeable improvement
