Looking to buy a crt. Is this one worth $60?

Does it suit your needs?
Do you have the money?
Is there an alternative CRT around you want instead?

Where i live they are giving them on cl
No. Lowball hard, and if you do get it, I believe those can be modded to accept an RGB input. I'd keep one to /vr/ and look for a proper HD CRT to use as a TV for a home office/battlestation.
Is there any cheap 21 inches 1280x720 crt TV?

To me? No. But for you, who knows..?
I bought a factory sealed IBM studio-tier monitor from 1995 for 9€ on french craigslist

No, go post your local craigslist in the /vr/ crt thread and someone will find you one.

No. HD CRT TV although advertise they do HD it's all at a lower native screen size like 1024x1024 and scaled. They made these when LCD became popular and plasma was overtaking CRT. Don't bother trying to find a CRT for HD gaming. Even the pinnacle of HD CRT the KD-34XBR970 doesn't have a native 720p resolution and it claims it does 1080i. WTF?

I recently gave away a panasonic wide screen one that was still pretty nice, so unless it was in mint condition and basically unused I wouldn't pay money for a CRT in 2017.
what is the point of having huge TV like that, small crt TVs are much more comfier
>$60
No, If it were at least a 14in PVM, I would jump on it. I wouldn't pay more than $20 for that. Though I assume that's a later Trinitron with component input which is great but you'll probably see some warping around the edges because it's a flat CRT..
what do you want it for? If the answer is anything else than "playing melee" (or any other games that require it) it's not worth it
