It comes like that from most distros. I remember getting it with the older interface from some distro (I don't remember which) but just had to change a setting to get XMB. I don't know about Windows, I imagine it comes with the new interface now too. It can be a little intimidating at first. Make sure you go through the online updater and update the stuff like assets, core info files, and auto config profiles. That stuff doesn't come with it, from the places I've gotten it anyways.

Got a retarded question for you all. How do you screenshot with the Print Screen key in xfce? It didn't seem to do it by default, so I tried programming a hotkey using a terminal screenshot program with a "save to clipboard" flag but it worked maybe 1/10 times and always took multiple attempts.

Any better way? Also the screen tearing issues sadly hit me too. Other than that I like the simplicity of xfce and would want to use it when I move back to Linux.
