This was back when reddit was in 2nd place to digg. There was a huge issue with "power users" getting big articles posted first for the updiggs or whatever you want to call it, so it was same batch of users posting articles which pissed off a lot of the other users. Rose came out with Digg 2.0 which broke the site, users complained, Rose said "lol whoops o well i deleted the old code gud luck"

I swear, Digg and Reddit are government controlled tools used to manipulate popular opinion.

I always felt the gubberment decided Reddit's format was better at evaluating and manipulating popular opinion, and purposely tanked Digg.

It's just very odd how Digg went from the #1 content aggregator in the world, to basically turning itself into shitty news site overnight.

They even went out of their way to prevent people from communicating on Digg in a forum.
