Systemd fear mongers

Of ALL the CIA/NSA leaks, have you seen one (ONE) single systemd exploit? No? Thought so.
Fuck off, we know you are just Micros**t shills in disguise.
>>
You don't need an exploit for something that's already backdoored
>>
wtf ? are those all tools systemd reimplemented ??
>>
>>60315150

the isses in OP's pic are a problem with linux and not with systemd

I blame it on C/C++ programmers general laziness with clean package distribution and code modularity
>>
>>60315588
>code modularity
>requires object oriented programming
bloat
>>
Linux has never been hardened for security, it's relied almost exclusively on obscurity.
Which is why now we're finding all these 20+ year old bugs that are unbelievably huge security problems, because linux is finally gaining more traction.
>>
>>60315150
someone on /g/ told me it was made by SJWs so i don't like it

This this this
>>
>>60315588
how is it the kernels fault?
are you computer illiterate?
>>
>>60315666
Protip: If you don't know what you are talking about, don't post it.
>>
>>60315417
actually you do
>>
>>60315417
Backdoor is a security exploit, turd brain
>>
>>60315830
A key is not an exploit. Also op mentions CIA/NSA, for whom the backdoor would be installed.
>>
>>60315684
Which is good, because maybe, just maybe, those bugs will now get fixed, thus making Linux more usable. Barring the efforts of various well-knows spergs in the Linux community.
>>
>>60315758

>how is it the kernels fault?

I am speaking more about userspace but its all one issue

>are you computer illiterate?

a modern OS should basically be a image compiler for the chipset, otherwise the developers and administrators end up writing the same package management and configuration workarounds over and over, and symbols and functions across libraries are not reused

this is how distributed systems built for container deployment and parallelism are built and a lot of network companies roll their own OS's because of this

No evidence again. Don't you spastics ever get bored?

>The CVE-2016-10156 security hole in systemd v228 opens the door to privilege escalation attacks, creating a means for hackers to root systems locally if not across the internet. The vulnerability is fixed in systemd v229.

>Essentially, it is possible to create world-readable, world-writeable setuid executable files that are root owned by setting all the mode bits in a call to touch(). The systemd changelog for the fix reads:

basic: fix touch() creating files with 07777 mode

mode_t is unsigned, so MODE_INVALID < 0 can never be true.

This fixes a possible [denial of service] where any user could fill /run by writing to a world-writable /run/systemd/show-status.

However, as pointed out by security researcher Sebastian Krahmer, the flaw is worse than a denial-of-service vulnerability – it can be exploited by a malicious program or logged-in user to gain administrator access: "Mode 07777 also contains the suid bit, so files created by touch() are world writable suids, root owned."
>>
>>60316280
That's not a CIA/NSA leak. It's a common CVE, every single software has 0days like this.

Tldr: Try again
>>
You morons do realize the nr 1 contributor to the kernel is (((Intel))) right? And the second RH, the same RH that Linus accused of trying to cede the boot loader to MS in the EFI debacle. And that's just what we know. Fuck knows how many more moles have been crawling in Linux's 15mil lines of code during all these years. It's not a secure OS.
>>
The first and foremost problem with shitsemd is Lenny.
>>
>>60316302
>That's not a CIA/NSA leak.
who cares? it could have been put in there by the NSA/
>>
>>60316364

you have to go back to where you came from

Intel being controlled by Jews is a matter of public record, they don't hide it, quite the opposite. Maybe try addressing my point instead of sperging like an idiot. Also, /g/ is pretty much /pol/ reloaded, it is you who needs to leave.

Are you guys retarded? READ THE LINK, INTEL IS LITERALLY RUN BY JEWS. Why is this so hard to believe??

First off, a "partner" like RedHat would not be on the same papers than exploits like PRISM, as this is malware is shipped by default

Second, your picture is bullshit
