I'm tired of getting fucked by ASUS every month. Which laptop manufacturer has not-shit support ?
Specifically :
- as few custom drivers as possible (the kind that eats 100% CPU for no reason and doesn't get updated for major Windows versions)
- honest support that doesn't make you pay (€75) for fucking nothing when you refuse their repair price and ask to get your computer back

Install gentoo and everything will be ok

I got a Dell laptop that came pre installed with Ubuntu. I had to install Windows 10 on it (8.1 had driver issues) for my mother and I don't remember installing any driver, everything seems to have worked out of the box. PC works well, no apparent resource high like you mentioned.
I can't say anything about their support because the computer is new and never had a dell before, but my first experience with that Laptop was very pleasant - good build quality, everything worked well, everyday tasks were fast.
Laptop in question is a Dell Vostro 15 with 1080p screen, 8GB of RAM, 256GB SSD and a U i5.
