I ran an AMD video card 79XX series and did hackintosh just fine. IIRC it actually has better support than nVidia. Look up some hackintosh guides and you will see for yourself. It is extremely comfy and easy to set up. Even updates work pretty flawlessly now. I triple booted Win 8, Sierra and Debian for games, web browsing, and programming respectively and it was pretty seamless after the initial headache of configuration. Just buy a separate HDD for each OS to save some pain

Cmd+Shift+4 for a selection or a whole window/UI element by pressing the spacebar, combine this with option and you can capture without the UI shadowing, combine it with command and you can capture individual dropdown menus, or other minor UI elements.
Combine any of these with control and it'll save it to the clipboard.

I'm trying to move from Terminal to iTerm 2
Couldn't find my profile online so I manually inputted the colours for the different profiles.
Despite that the highlighting is completely different.

I don't think it's a vim issue either because they're both using the default vim highlighting if I check with :colo. Also they should be using the same .vimrc file so that shouldn't be the issue.

iTerm lets you split your terminal into panes using keyboard shortcuts. Horizontally or vertically.
This is pretty handy imo.
Also, Terminal.app won't respond to my window snapping keyboard shortcuts so I have to drag the windows to the screen edges.

I've always used Terminal.app so far but I wouldn't mind switching it up.
Can't really do it if the colours are all fucked in iTerm though.

You could not in any way be any more wrong. There are SO many fucking situations that easily snapping two documents, windows, or applications side-by-side is so insanely fucking useful. The fact Linux or OSX doesnt have it baffles the shit out of me.

Windows even has multiple desktops now, and I used about 4 of them at work. And on every single one of those workspaces except one I have everything snapped side-by-side on two monitors because of how useful it is to have more information on the screen together instead of having to flip between screens constantly.
