There's some fuckery going on at the FCC commenting page for net neutrality. 54k of the 518k results are the exact same shilling: "The unprecedented regulatory power the Obama Administration imposed on the internet is smothering innovation, damaging the American economy and obstructing job creation. I urge the Federal Communications Commission to end the bureaucratic regulatory overreach of the internet known as Title II and restore the bipartisan light-touch regulatory consensus that enabled the internet to flourish for more than 20 years. The plan currently under consideration at the FCC to repeal Obama's Title II power grab is a positive step forward and will help to promote a truly free and open internet for everyone." Whats even more is all the names are really generic and in alphabetical order like from some generator. Which company is trying to fuck this up?
Stop the presses, you mean to tell me, that people, on the internet, might just copy and past a response?

Strange, my pro net neutrality post never appeared. Gosh. The Trump administration wouldn't do anything shady? Would they?
I want to comment in favor of net neutrality but as someone mildly concerned about privacy I'm perturbed by the need for a name and address. What happens when someone scrapes my data and tries to steal my identity? You can get a lot from a full name and address.
Obviously one could just use a fake name and address but those are likely to be thrown out and wouldn't that constitute fraud?

It's a catch 22 on purpose my friend.

Are you implying that you don't currently receive any junk mail?
