I don't understand why neo-/g/ thinks that data encryption automatically makes you a pedophile or a terrorist. What if your computer or phone were stolen? Would you want the burglar to have access to your personal files? Also, there is no point in using any form of "cloud" storage without putting the data in an encrypted container first. If you don't, you're willingly giving that data to at least 50 international government agencies.

I use LUKS and LVM2. Fat32 file system doesn't support encryption though. Like, you can use encryption on a flash drive, but with all of the read/write processes you're dramatically shortening the devices lifespan when you can just use a standard HDD or SSD with a file system that actually supports encryption.
