I've never been as productive since I built a desktop with Windows 7, recently 10 now. I made a lot of shit, because I could. Linux doesn't have Sharex, linux doesn't have FL Studio, linux doesn't have autohotkey, and a number of other productivity applications. Not saying linux is not nice, but I learned how good a well made Windows system can be. Also in like 3 years I only had 1 system crash and no other problems. Also video games are beautiful, I need to play Overwatch once in a while, so I'm glad my operating system can handle that need without a problem.

So this freedom is so relative that it either relates to a minuscule part of all OS users or not relates to anybody - i.e., it is exaggerated to an extent of pure bullshit. It substitutes the real things with the imaginary ones - with all negative consequences that accompany such unhealthy action. Thanks god it's at least free as a beer, but the market shares speak for themselves.

If you want to add a new dropdown of course you're going to just copy the piece of .xml that defines it elsewhere and simply change the entries.

String resources are required for localization. The only issue is the sequential id requirement.

There is absolutely nothing wrong or unusual about this process.
If you've ever worked with Android you'll know that it works exactly the same except that it generates resource ids for you.

All the privacy shit aside. This is probably the least enjoyable/usable OS I've used since fucking Vista and their UAC asking me all the time to change simple shit.

Everytime this thing updates it either breaks some driver or valuable function on my XPS13 or it tries to turn all my setting to default and resets all my changes in the registry. I've gone 3 times now in the last 4 months redoing all my registry settings that I have a back up of my registry just to save all my settings because FUCKING MICROSOFT thinks its necessary to change all my shit to default when I specifically want certain features on/off/different

Last week's windows update bricked my Wifi on my XPS13 and now when ever I'm downloading a large file >100mb it blue-screens, blames the driver and reboots. I've tried every fucking driver Dell has available plus the generic microsoft one. I'm so fucking sick of this thing I might just RMA it because I'm having the hardest time undoing the update that started this issue.

Half the time when I search things in the search bar it defaults to putting some app in the store at the top and recommends I buy it. I changed this in the registry to remove this recommendation, next update fucking changed it back like what the fuck. Even before I would search for something like "device manager" in the search and it would want to fucking Bing "device manager" into the search engine.
