Post your guts, friends!

I don't know how I feel about the switch to Zen.. There are lots of issues and has left me a bit sour desu, senpais.

The performance for the price is outstanding, but here is some of my problems:

-Shitty memory compatability and oc ability

-I get horrible screen tear when scrolling and such, this wasn't a problem with my p55 setup.

-My cpu oc is limited by the fact that there is no vdroop/load line control in my bios. I set 1.375vcore, it reads 1.41 idle and drops to fucking 1.31v under load! This means i whould have to set well over 1.4v to actually get 1.375v under load and that whould result in over 1.5v idle voltage.. Fucking ridiculous.

-No BCLK overclocking except for 4 am4 boards in total, none m-atx.

The good news is several of these issues will probably be fixed in bios and driver updates, so things will only get better.. Hopefully.

I'm having the same issue with my 1800x work build
I just don't get screen rolling, one of my main gripes is the horrible stuttering I get in Autodesk programs and Adobe photoshop

Still waiting on my second 1080, no I did not buy two new 1080s, EVGA gave them to me when I had to RMA one of my 980tis. Probably will make a new picture by this weekend if I have time
>>
>>60286477
Sell one of the Gtx1080's, you have a 1920x1080 display ffs.

What mobo/ram you got for the 1800x? Any overclock?

i like posting mine and watching /g freak out from my mismatching led's.
>even though i secretly agree but the only way i change my led strips to a solid color is by installing asus shit software that doesn't work 70% of the time on the crosshair vi hero. let alone i have to install asus shit software to begin with because for some odd reason they can't add led color control in the bios.

Funny, I just recently RMA'd my 970s and EVGA sent me these 1070 as replacements. One of the LEDs doesn't work on the bottom card but I don't give an fuck about LEDs.

First cards I ever had to RMA since my ATi 9500 Pro that caught fire. I've had probably 12 from EVGA and these were the first to have issues. It was just loud cool whine too.

>>60286437
i'm >>60287189 i receive zero screen tearing and at least in the crosshair vi hero thread and official amd ryzen thread on overclock.net i have never seen any such complaints. the only complains regarding video type issues, which screen tearing when scrolling will fall under, has been people getting black screens after booting into windows because they forgot to set pci-express boot to legacy in the bios.

that's not ryzen. that's your own stupidity not researching motherboards.

I'm the second build who was responding
Like I said I'm not getting the screen tearing aspect but I am getting stutters in autodesk. Screen tearing due to a processor is not common but possible if it is not feeding the correct frame data and the correct timings to the GPU. Not common, but completely possible. I have to reason why Ryzen would do it nor can I investigate it as I'm not having the issue myself.

Is that really possible in a modern OS where the entire desktop is double buffered? I could see it happening in Windows XP or something.
>>
>>60289311
Possible? Yeah
Have I ever seen it happen? Nah
Not saying the reports of it are invalid I'm just saying it's most likely a relatively small group of people dealing with this issue

moved it from the thermaltake core v21 to the corsair air 240. much smaller, and it actually fits under my tv. only problem is the cooler is too big, so its running topless now.

I usually don't suggest this, but I think you need a new case. Ingenuitive use of mobo standoffs.
>there is no vdroop/load line control in my bios
Can you use offset and additional turbo voltage? I don't know anything about am4 but that's what I had to do on a p8p67

6700k, GTX1080, and an Asus Maximus VIII Hero. Just removed the shit PSU, the shit RAM, and the shit CPU cooler in favor of some good parts. Shooting for a 4.6-4.8 O/C with 2x8gb DDR4-3000 and another 1080 in the future.

Does anyone know how to undervolt a 560 Ti beyond 0.95V? I currently run it at 525 MHz but can't undervolt further it still draws too much power

I get tearing in UDK which I'm using for school, but maya is gravy. I thought it was a nvidia control panel setting though. Just haven't looked into it.
i7 by the way.
