Make a totally free and open source smartphone that uses a custom made RISC-V based SoC and modem. The baseband software will be based on OsmocomBB and the modem itself will be completely isolated through the SoC (none of those Samsung backdoors). All bootloaders including the bootROM will be open sourced. The kernel will probably be hardened Linux or an XNU variant (sort of like what Apple uses). A lot of the core components and libraries and utilities will be written from scratch and the UI will take hints from Android (swipe down control center and notifications) and iOS (single button gesture system).
