PS3 downgrading pt.3 /w E3 Flasher!

Reseat the flasher on the NOR. It seems to be a common issue with the E3

The E3 Flasher arrived damaged I've concluded. It does not properly seat the Micro SD card. I could not update from the Micro SD card, I had to use USB. I'm just confused on why it gives me that error code instead of the no TF one (where it can't detect a SD card).

Maybe the whole thing is fucked, but anyways I put in a ticket for a refund/replacement.

Yeah, seriously. The good news is that the E3 flasher came in like 2 days when it was suppose to come in a week. But bad news is that I definitely got a shitty one that doesn't even fucking work properly. Oh well, I mean I have a huge backlog of games on my PC anyways, so not having a working PS3 is the least of my worries right now. I mean it is working, but I'm just not gonna use it until it's CFW'd.

If you have an ESD safe soldering gun with temperature control, leaded solder, and wire, and you're confident in your skills, then go ahead. But E3 flashers are only 50 bucks so I would just do that. So much easier.

Tf card slot is fine, you're not doing it right.
Look at the metal, you slide it towards the buttons (unlock) and then lift up, it folds open

Okay thanks, but I'm getting an error code still.

Apparently I have to wait 30 seconds with slim PS3s and I have not been waiting but the error code I was getting was

>1 0 0 0 1 1 0 0 Failed to initialize PS3 BIOS Check pads / clip at PS3 board check may not be properly seated

HOW IS THIS NOT CLAMPED ON PROPERLY? I've waited 30 seconds and it's still happening.

Why do people downgrade?

The Ebay dude is still planning on replacing my shit though, so it's all cool. Maybe my flasher really just is fucked. I've tried reseating it a million times so I think the seat or cord is fucked up or something.
