Google Project Zero's security researchers have discovered another critical remote code execution (RCE) vulnerability in Microsoft’s Windows operating system
>Worst exploit in the recent history
As usual, Google gave M$ a 90 day ultimatum to fix the bug before publishing the exploit for the public.
Google did gave a hint that
> The working exploit they created works against default Windows installations.
> The attacker does not need to be on the same local area network (LAN) as the victim, which means vulnerable Windows computers can be hacked remotely.
> The attack is "wormable," capability to spread itself.
This is not the first time when Google's security researchers have discovered flaws in Microsoft’s products. Most recently in February, Google researchers disclosed the details of an unpatched vulnerability impacting Microsoft's Edge and Internet Explorer browsers.

Considering that anyone who cares about safety and privacy has already ditched windows, why didn't you listen, /v/?
Holy shit Windows is fucking trash

Didn't help apparently. I thought Windows 10 got rid of EMET as well

Can you show me where they said the exploit worked against EMET?
And yes, Microsoft will stop supporting the standalone on the 31 of July

Supposedly the protections of EMET are going to be included within Windows 10. We'll have to wait until then to see if that's true.
