Sucks, comcast offered me $125/month for 2gbps because of the FiOS deal. But they still want to charge me $500 installation and $500 activation.

So $1000 install costs, and since I only have 1gbps NIC's and routers, I'd be spending easily another $500-1000 on 10GbE NICs and switches.

$1500-2000 for 2gbps instead of 1gbps.

And $125/month instead of $70/month.

Comcast needs to get with the times.

Not only would i need to upgrade to all 10GbE switches and NICs, but almost NOTHING I would connect to would even use 1gbps, let alone 2gbps.
