The i7-7700K is basically the "last man standing" in Intel's lineup, besides the poorfag pentium, which is slated to be crushed later this year by the Ryzen R3 and Raven Ridge APUs. It's only natural it's shortcomings start to come to light now that there's a viable alternative.
