How much faster have snapdragon processers gotten since 801?
Meh not much, we're getting diminishing returns now and most manufacturers are focusing on maximising battery life at the cost of performance.
Also comparing SoCs has largely consisted of geekbench interger and floating scores with no way to accurately gauge the thermal throttling they all engage in.
Shit's fucked yo.

Around 3 with more GPU

Nigger are you retarded?
801 was a hot piece of shit Gap filler before the gap filler before the gap filler before the failed again custom architecture before the finally sane semi custom design choice

>maximising battery life
Good, its exactly what they have to do
>>60236219
>most manufacturers are focusing on maximising battery life at the cost of performance
bullshit.
flagship SoCs still go for the highest turbo possible and can't even give you any gains from die shrinks.

compare a Sony Xperia z1 to an xz and you'll see a massive leap

compare against ARM promises and you see their incompetence.

>implying it's not the incompetence of qualcomm
Compared to samsung's and apple's homegrown arm chips qualcomm sucks a fat one.

810 was a hot piece of shit
801 was the 821 of 2014
Why do qualcomm cpus have so much FPU power? I remember seeing some a73 vs qualcomm test where the A73 won all the integer tests by 30% or so but was half the speed in floats.
>>60236203
Embarrassingly slower than any of Apple's A chips
