What do you need OP? There is literally thousands of free packages and I could recommend so stuff like Anki to learn through flashcard, Calibre to read and convert any type of ebook like epub or mobi, Kodi to watch series listen to online radio etc, Liferea to read online news and even latest videos from youtube, Krita to draw some stuff, GThumb to order and watch your pictures, and that is from the top of my head.
Using it at the moment.
