Of couse gaymes and browsing. The Pentium is too slow for anything except Mass Effect 3. But it feels much better in desktop usage even with 2 GB DDR3.

Intel have hit the wall in terms of single-threaded performance. Their projections are for their 10nm jump to be slower than Kaby Lake initially. All they can do is go down the more cores road, which is why they're bringing hexa cores to the mainstream platform (about four years too late).
