Using xmpp w/ OTR but it is not very good when it comes to "ease", would like to convince my normies to use something like "Wire" or something that's more ezier.

you cant run wire through Tor,
even though its not P2P, not being able to run it through any type of proxy makes it sketchy. Unless you use Privoxy, but thats not really convinient is it?
