The point of a laptop is to be portable without worries most of the time, and still be powerful enough to give you enough room to do intensive stuff when you absolutely need it.
This is why the XPS 15 is the perfect laptop (hell, even the rMBP if you don't mind AMD). Anything less and you may lack power, anything more and you should go desktop/cloud

Looked it up and read a review, it's another just fine average high-end laptop - apart from the speakers and the webcam, that is. The speakers are apparently garbage and they've just slammed on the cheapest camera there is as they always do. Very few laptop makers have bothered to take advantage of the now very cheap mobile phone camera parts that are widely available. If a $100 phone can have a 13MP camera then a $2000 laptop should do better than 1 MP.

Nobody want's a 2 in 1 hinge or a detachable screen on a 15". I have a 10" tablet and a 6.5" tablet. I barely use the 10", I either use the smaller one or the laptop. 6.5-8" and it's worth having a detachable screen but that's too small for a laptop. Anything bigger and a laptop is a better choice.
