/lit/ here, redpill me on why I should use Vim and LaTex.
There is no reason to use Vim if you aren't editing configuration files or code, and there is no reason to use LaTex if you are not creating scientific documents.

There are reasons to use Vim and LaTeX, Vim is for massive editing and the less cluttered interface you'll be seeing, and LaTeX is to make any visual candy you'll ever want, althought for LaTeX you could try Lyx.

Do learn LaTeX, it is a huge improvement for typesetting over anything else. I suggest trying it out by just creating an overleaf account and messing around with it there for a while first.

All I want to know is if it can output ePub, mobi,Rich Text and maybe Microsoft Office. The only file formats a writer needs.
