Can you ever really compare different ISAs given that they have to be implemented differently on silicon?
I'm sure you could design a better ISA, but would that on it's own mean your shitcode runs faster? Bear in mind, all good compilers have had thousands of man years poured into them just to make the code they output to run fast as hell on x86.
