Looks like it might be legit, they have the Dolby Atmos Audio which was only available on the UHD disc, so it can't have been taken from the DVD or 1080p bluray.
big if true
I'd love to download more 4k content, but the 50+gb sizes really put me off.

why The Smurfs? : (

I'm personally not too concerned about that, I have 1gbps down and upload, as well as 19.5TB of storage.
I just hope it's not some screen capture BS again. I'll even take a full disc image, I've got the CPU time to encode it myself if i needed to.

I guess some autists are going to seed that stuff for encoding/remuxing purposes.

That's really the only reason we care.
if you're going to encode it, at least encode from the highest quality source available, in this case it's a remux, which isn't possible without cracking AACS 2.0.
I'm tired of seeing "UHD" torrents where they just screen cap a 4k bluray and try to pass it off as just as good as a remux, or even an encode from a remux.

for you maybe

Yarp.

>Update: After reviewing the full file our expert source believes that the release is indeed a copied UHD Blu-Ray Disc
>people still buy 480p 720x480 DVDs in 2017
Colour me suprised.
Any hints on what could be released next? Maybe this was a one off exploit?
