Are you guys even employed?
Massive Google drive attack today.
A mass spam email was sent out all over the country with a good drive link that would wipe all your files.
more like a drive by attack
After some investigation on my end the page will actually take ownership of all your files and then remove you from them.
>>60197571
>>60197587
So should I just delete the email if I see it in my inbox?
Any anons with TBs of porn on drive I'll give you the link
>>60197610
Yes it will probably be from
Hhhhhhhhhh (at) mailinator.com
Jokes on you, Outlook has been broken all day so I couldn't even open said email had I received one.

>he downloads and runs unknown executable attachments from spam mails
you fucking deserve it
People use cloud services that are not self-hosted??
>>60197734
You idgit it's a Google oauth screen not an exe.
>>60197724
She did. That's why I reset her password. Looks like none of her documents are shared with anyone new though.
>>60197772
>oauth screen
>malware that takes ownership of your files
>webpage with local file access
does not compute or you use a shitty browser that lets websites query and control your system
>>60197806
Lucky one of my people clicked it and lost everything
I bet enough people have clicked it that it's slowing it down.
Check her approved apps and shit.
>>60197815
..... leave g you don't even know what Google drive is.
>>60197742
There are. I have better things to do with my time that deal with shitty file management freeware and train every new employee or client that touches it.
>>60197846
This
>>60197826
This, I'm monitoring a similar situation, any input you might have would be appreciated...
I don't understand why people can't figure this sort of shit out...
>>60197894
If you have gapps go into admin find the account and remove all authorized apps. The. Go into the accounts my account and look for authorized apps
>>60197933
nothing seems out of place, no files on the drive were deleted, and there are no unauthorized apps running connected to the account. Any idea what this was?
>>60197551
>all over the country
fucking amerifats...
>>60197985
It was a simple script that parsed through your docs and transferred ownership.
Can be made in 5 minutes
>>60197551
>there are actually people who pay Google or Amazon for "cloud storage" instead of just using externals
I just don't understand it.
>>60198024
I get Google apps for free in my line of work
Stay mad neet
>>60198023
yep, I'm looking at the headers in the email she received right now, that's exactly what it was. i found an IP that I'm curious about, but halfway feels like a tarp
>>60197571
Thanks
>>60198043
It's most likely a relay server or the person who did it was that stupid. Who knows maybe you can sue em
>>60198072
that's sorta my thought, nobody seems stupid enough to execute something this poorly
>>60198024
>there are people with jobs, I don't get it.
I have about 3.5 million worth of produced video content that I'm responsible for making sure survives a building fire.

>>60197551

Is the average person really this retarded?
Also, good job on joining the cloud scam.

Or, if your organization uses gdocs, you get a few document share emails a day.
It sends to everyone in your address book from your email, so it looks just like whatever you normally get.
>>60199636
I hope your file server catches on fire along with your backup server right next to it.
>>60201138
Doesn't even have anything to do with the user's machine.

It's a direct link to google.com oauth.
>>60197551
>Google drive
I exclusively use Dropbox. 26GB lifetime free.
>>60202061
If it really is a direct link, then it can't do anything harmful unless the google servers have actually been hacked.
>>60197551
Link?
I would like a reformat but idk how
