Pixel Launcher is such a meme. It's too hard to reach the top left corner to get to search on a 6" display. The search pill and clock don't even persist across homescreens anyway so why wouldn't they just make it a widget?

Well it's a widget on Nova launcher. Also moveable, and gestures for Google now and notification shade. Tall screen? No problem
