if you want to reduce eye strain make sure to exercise at least 45 minutes a day WITHOUT wearing glasses / contacts
What kind of exercise ?

Hard to tell, even at work I have to use a computer, though not for prolonged periods. Combined with home use, at most would be 6-8h.

Idk, currently I don't have to wear glasses, as I had to do the eye test when I got my driving license. I did have to wear when I was young though as I was born with astigmatism at my right eye. Lower right image is a representation of how I used to see with my righ eye (minus the blur, you don't get that blur at all, just a "shadow/copy" of the highlights in particular moved slightly to the right is what I was really seeing). Over time and with exercise things have gotten better, now I can read even the fine prints on like spray tubes or clothing labels (:

it's good to focus your eyes on something in the distance at least once an hour for ~1 minute. Allows your eyes to relax.

Christ, at least 12 all told. If I tally up all the time using anything with a screen during an average day, yeah 12 actually sounds low.

Can't remember but not good. My lenses get thicker every year, at this rate I'll be legally blind by the time I'm 40.

Isac you're ancient!
Here I was thinking you were in your early 20s.

Since I work part time as security, monitoring the camera screens my eyes are wide open. Not just because of the screens, but also because I get threats and such from crazy schizophrenics and paranoid junkies with aids.
My eyes hurt.

I got hereditary poor vision so I've been wearing glasses since I was 9 but it has never increased.
