Right, so I'm on a budget and wanna get a gaming PC off the ground. I'm looking at a Pentium G4560. Does anyone have one or have used one? Planning to pair with an RX 570 for ultrawide 1080p gaming.

You want at least 4 cores for gaming, also http://www.logicalincrements.com/

Even though the G4560 is hyperthreaded?

The G4560 is fine for light gaming, it's basically a Haswell i3.
OP, the 570 / G4560 is a decent combo but you'd get a lot more bang for your buck if you saved up just a little bit to get an R5 1600 and an RX580 instead.

Its basically perfect if you just pair it with a 1050ti and only slightly bottlenecks the 1060 compared to i5s and i7s, so it should be fine with a rx 570.
As long as you dont go fullk retarded and pair it with a 1080, which results in framerates all over the place, it does its job fine.
