Do you disable SELinux?
>>
Why would I even have SELinux enabled in the first place?

Why would I even use Linux in the first place?
>>

No.
It's quite annoying when you're trying to set up something on CentOS and all of the guides online tell you to turn SELinux off, because they are too lazy/stupid to configure it properly.
>>
>>60139007
>use fedora
>play tf2
>SELinux starts freaking the fuck out at audio files and I have no tf2 audio
this thing is a joke
>>
set enforce 0
Or don't be a pleb and use the excellent selinux error manager to figure out what you need to allow through
>>
>>60139028
I'm not running bloody TF2 on my home server.
Anyway, for desktop use, I imaging SELinux would be more trouble than its worth.
>>
>>60138686
not in corporate servers
>>
>>60139007
It does say something about the software's usability when the vast majority of people deal with it by disabling it.
>>
>>60138686
What's selinux?
>>
>>60138792
Security
Stabilility
Costumizeability
Privacy
Efficiency
Price (both in hardware as in software)
Terminals
Look and Feel

Security almost always comes with the cost of being a pain in the ass.

security features OP doesn't want because it was developed by the NSA

I always leave it enabled. If you have an issue literally just look at the logs and it will tell you how to fix it.
>>
I'd like to interject for a moment

What you are referring to as SELinux is in fact the NSA's alterations to Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, NSA/Linux
