So, I bought me 32GB of 2400MHz RAM...
XMP should be 11-13-13-31 @ 1.65v, but I can't get it to boot at any frequency above 1866MHz.
CPU: i7 3770
Mobo: ASUS P8Z77-V LK
A friend recommended I slowly bump up my CPU voltage until I can boot it at 2400, but I've also read that you can increase the voltage of the memory controller as well? Wat do?
I have an OP Coolermaster CPU heatsink, so I'm not exactly concerned about blowing my shit up by bumping my CPU up a few hundred MHz.
Don't fucking overclock your ram idiot

I'll overclock your dad

Have a look at the Asus QVL list. The timings for their recommended 2400mhz are a bit different (11-13-13-35) and they don't have it in 32gb. I wouldn't be surprised if this older board can't handle 4 dimms at that timing.

>inb4 someone says barely 2400

Not OP but shut up stupid.
