Does anyone know the name of this keyboard?
I picked it up for 5$ recently.
It has a din5 connector and came with a din5 to ps/2 cable so i'm able to use it.
It works great but my question is - what model is this?
I searched it up on google and the best keyword was the Model M.

It kind of looks like a model m, but not quite. The keys are too plasticy, the lock lights are weird, and there's no logo. Then again, there were a lot of model m variations, so it's not impossible. Probably just from the same era though.

What are the keys like? Model Ms have actual springs in them and a very distinctive feel and sound that you can find on youtube.
>>
I have seen a couple of videos of Model m's. The keyboard sounds a bit like a M but not quite.

BTC 51x9 series. Next time try googling it first.

Well, thanks.

You're welcome. For future reference, the Model M usually says IBM on it.

I know, a Model M was the first reasonable thing that came up after i searched the images up in google, other things were generic crap like "computer keyboard" which were not really helpful.
>>
>>60136121
Why didn't you just try googling the numbers on the back of the board?
>>
>>60136149
i did, although i ignored the 5139 number like a fool

All you had to do was google the FCC ID. You know, the biggest thing on the label.
>>
Oh well, i'll look into shit more next time. Cheers.

Lol I literally typed in the FCC id, which returned the company that made it, behavior tech computer corporation, and I hit it with a guess and typed in "BTC 10140 keyboard" and it was the first result. Total of about 20 seconds of work. OP is just a lazy nigger.

Just to be clear the model M didn't have that weirdass backslash placement and had a single-row enter.
