honestly I'm still pretty new to /g/ (a year or two) but I feel that there's always two sides of /g/, one of /v/ crossovers shouting about graphics cards, pc components, chip performance, and videogames, while another side argues over which shell or component of linux or program you should be using and the other one is a piece of shit
Then somewhere in the middle you have a little section squashed by both sides of people asking interesting questions about programming or decent discussion about technology
should we be ok with this noise? or should something be done about it?
