price is the only reason I don't get one, I love my T430 but it would be nice to have something a lighter; I would have gone x220 but the screen resolution is trash, atleast 1600x900 is workable

They're issued at my uni. Most yearly models are garbage, I got lucky. 2015 is excellent.

got a gen 1 (i5 4gb 1600x900) and gen 4 (i7 16gb ultra high res)

i prefer my beaten up gen 1. but both are excellent

run linux on them, great laptops. would recommend.

I'm not a huge fan of the ultra high res screen desu.

I run i3wm on fedora XFCE. fonts etc are small as shit, ive fiddle etc. always zooming with chrome.

Keyboards on both are superb
