Don't go for them. Get a kitchen counter top and an extra leg for the middle. They sell white countertops at ikea but the wooden ones seem to be a lot stronger. They were never deep enough for me though so i went with a dinner table

I think they're fantastic, I was worried they would have too little bass but they blew me away once I got them.
The comfy factor is also off the charts.
I'm sure you could get something better for $200+ more but I'm not an audiophile or anything and as a first pair of open headphones I'll swear by them.

Monitor is 1920x1200, laptop is 1920x1080 but the fact the former is 24" while the latter is 15" makes the monitor seem a bit naff. If you are an audiophile, your screen setup really throws a wrench in any plans for decent speaker placement.

how my macbook is working in regards to my needs? Just fine actually. I've used other laptops in the past and find my macbook the best thing I've used, especially for music production. Latency is lower and it has simply lasted much longer than any previous laptop I've owned. Retina display is plus also.

nah, I used flat push pins every 10 or so inches. Ideally some tapestry will have a loop stitching on the top so you can run a thin pole through it to hang it up. This will just about eliminate all wrinkles. mine didn't have one, unfortunately.

here's some advice: if you order any tapestry online, chances are it will have some wrinkles. get an ironing board and an iron, flip it over, and iron it the wrinkles out (backside facing up, so you don't potentially mess with the printing). if you have a steamer, lay the tapestry out on a clothesline and work out the wrinkles that way.

Not really. Violin or any classical stringed instrument is much more difficult. Any one can have a piano or a guitar make actual sound. It is not so with a violin or cello. Piano is easy to jam on if you know a tiny bit but one of the most difficult to master because of needing to acquire absolute independence with both arms.
