Apparently the "good" TIM wears out over time. Intel's TIM is shit, but doesn't wear out. Or if it does, it's over a much longer period of time.
This basically means any DELID DIS CPUs are done with the knowledge you have to periodically DELID DIS again and re-apply TIM.
