Close one eye. Look around and see how much you are able to see. Now open thw other eye and see how much you were missing. Now you understand why widescreens are nicer for people who have two eyes side by side. It's easier to see sides than high up, so when you get a gigantic screen it's nicer if it's widescreen. Just get one that's big enough vertically and you'll have tons of horizontal space as a bonus.
