I've taken a bunch of courses like this, not for "computer stuff"(or whatever the fuck this is) but for miscellaneous shit in construction like reading plans, positioning and even operating heavy machinery.

People see online universities as rip-offs for the most part, and real universities that offer online courses charge just as much for them (and have a more limited selection) because otherwise the students that go to the campus for courses would stop going to the campus.

Furthermore, in-person classes have significantly better outcomes at this point in time. Students are much more engaged, they perform better, they are more likely to complete the course, etc.
