No shit fucko. I have a D750, and while it's a fucking powerhouse of a camera it also weighs a ton (and with the 24-300mm I keep on it it's also bulky as fuck). It outclasses my phone in every single metric except that it doesn't slip into my pocket. I don't need DSLR quality photos from a phone, but I would like for the snapshits I take to not look like hot garbage.

The Google Pixel Plus IMO, after owning a nexus 6 for over a year and a half I am very impressed with their implementation of Android as well as the hardware they provided at the time.

The only only bad things I can say about it is, the updates-(way too many imo), and the providers you have to choose from. Personally Ting has worked out for me, averaging in at 40 bucks a month.

Better screen (samsung's oled), that's basically it.

It's up to you really. I would rather spend say $750 every two years than $350 every year. Hell some people send $200 and use it for years.

I got a moto g4 plus which I like very much, especially for the price I got it for. But comparing it with my gfs lg g5 it's no comparison. Just scrolling a website is laggy on my android and smooth as butter on hers.

Inferior to my d750 in nearly every metric other than size. The only camera that I'd be willing to upgrade to would be the Sony A9, which: isn't out yet, and: costs $4,500 for the body.

I won't be buying any of these budget phones for $200-$300 until they start putting at least 1440p panels in them. When I can buy used note 4s, g3s, and Moto x pures for far less, they can go fuck themselves and their 'budget' products.
