It says 300/268W. I want to downclock and undervolt the Ti. I would love to see anyone donating me AM2 parts but investing in this computer isn't worth it. I know I'm risking everything blow.

In fact its a 125W Phenom II, but I'm unsure if it consumes the full 125W. Original was a 95W Phenom 9600.

No. I'll use my CX500 once I got a new one for my primary PC. I know this will be hard but this PC already ran a 7870 and 9600 GT. 560Ti is 170W alone but I hope I can reduce the consumption a bit.

I just got home from Microcenter. I went in looking for a Asus Rog Strix 1080 but some guy just returned this Asus 1080 ti right before I got in there. He had it for a fucking day and microcenter marked it down to $629 used. What a fucking deal.

i did fall for the m-atx meme and i do say, i did enjoy it. would have kept it longer if the gpu didn't fry the sata ports on my gene. only explanation i could think of for four ports failing in a month. i was using a gigabyte xtreme 980 ti... and that thing put out a TON of heat. 300 watts worth and i remember feeling the acrylic side window when i would game and it would be hot to the touch. i honestly thought it was going to melt. my ram would go up 20c when the video card kicked in.

oh hawao crosshair again! replaced my gaming 5 because it kept freezing up randomly. at least asus admitted they fucked up and fixed the bricking issue :^) went back to air coolers since i was tired of rebuilding a water loop twice in a row.

vcore, according to amd, is 1.35v for 24/7 usage. 1.45v max but according to them, will see degradation in life span. only safe for benchmarking or don't care.

SoC amd hasn't spoken a word and all the manufacturers state contradicting statement. example, asus states don't go above 1.2v's with 1.25v's the max. gigabyte says 1.35v's is safe.

yeah i would just keep SoC on auto voltage on the crosshair. the crosshair its self on auto will set SoC to 1.15v's for 2933 and 3200mhz ram ratio. 1.0v's for 2400, 1.13v's for 2666mhz, and 0.8-0.9v's for 2133mhz.

according to elmor, a asus engineer working on the crosshair on the offical asus crosshair thread on overclock.net, the bricking bug can still come back if using 1.25v's or higher. when it comes to the processor itself, amd has never released an official statement.

No, I do want air coming in from there. The 120mm rad in the back has push pull set to intake and then there are 3 120mm fans up front all as intakes as well. Then two 120mm fans up top as exhausts. The air flow is great, the config I have now is performing way better than I thought it would. Wish I had some way to show how well it works.
If any of you can do something similar with front/back intake and top exhaust maintaining positive pressure - try it.

The gpu is low because I have no side clearance and the tubes pop out even more when it's mounted higher and as you see the corsair cooler's tubes are already resting on the GPU. If I mount the AIOs with out the tubes going into the bottom they make weird gargling noises.
Trust guys I tested all possible fan configurations with positive pressure and this is by far the best. The computer is ridiculously quiet for the overclocks I run 24/7 and the case which is generally regarded as having poor air flow.
Your computer is incredible by the way. Solid black tubing with silver fittings and rad is the most aesthetic possible set up.

Big no. It doesn't even have to 12V rails, it's a PSU made for PCs from 1998-2003, pre ATX2.0. I would shy from running any external GPUs with it, shy from the really frugal ones (say 20-40 W, if you have sub 95W CPU at least.)

I legitimately do not believe that hard tubing would be aesthetics upgrade for you. The black flexible tubes bring the whole build together imo. If I can ever afford to step up from AIO I intend to try something very similar.

Perhaps. I do have some other things I need to fix. Like sleeving the pump PWM cable, and moving the pump/reservoir into the main chamber and mounted on the wall. I'd like to get either all black fittings or silver-anodized look fittings that match the radiators more. People really do seem to love the matte black tubes, in all my builds.

no just upgrades since 2011, everything but the ssd, psu and fans was picked up used/bartered for. $430 total spent from a P8P67/sandy3/2x21600mhz/6850 1GB including a "broken" 2560x1600 syncmaster. Looking for a cheap i7-3770 then Zen+ is prob gonna be my next move. Not great, but it beats a g4560 build

Yep, I fell for the RGB RAM meme when shopping for new Ryzen parts buth these sticks were actually cheaper than any other 3000 CL15 pair in my country and now I feel like I should add even more leds to the case.

So... question: do colorful leds clash with Noctua fans too much? I already have one on the back of the case and I was planning on replacing the stock AMD Spire cooler with a Noctua NH-C14S which is pretty much one of the few non-overkill air coolers that doesn't block xbox hueg RAM.

Yeah, I know. The front SD card reader is one of the worst offenders as its cable is too short but I can't be arsed to get rid of it because I transfer stuff from my camera too often. An external USB one could do the job perfectly fine, but whatever.

Another problem is the GPU power cord, as the cable that goes out of the PSU has two 8-pin ends so the spare one will always be hanging around.

Led cables are still a placeholder while I figure out if I want to use the extremely lackluster options from my motherboard or get an inexpensive controller with a remote control.
