I don't think it's a bad idea for a free distribution fo linux to partner with a search engine to make it the default to get some cash. it's pretty obvious when the default start page of ff was a Linux Mint page with a yahoo search bar. This just doesn't bother me at all.

As for the flash shit, idk what you're talking about, if you're talking about Mint including nonfree shit that's their thing.
