It feels fine. Not heavy at all and the controller that comes with the new headset works very well. Cant wait to try out some of the games for it. Sales guy and I got along great. He said off the record he has a buddy that got a few porn movies working on his it was something to see I guess.

Do you think the s8 is upgrade worthy, anons? I use a crappy s2 from 2011 still and I'm really picky when it comes to phones. So I'm not sure if I should continue waiting till the note 8 comes out or just blow my load and purchase the s8.

I had the S5 and liked it but it was just running out of space. The S8 was a big jump for me. If you have an S2 I would say hell yes. I can't speak to the note 8 but other then a bigger screen and battery I can't see it being much of an upgrade to the S8+

I didn't like it. Low res camera. I think they're lying about the 4K at 60FPS like Apple did with the upscaled low res slomo. If anyone could do 4K at 60FPS it is Sony. The XZ Premium will do 960fps slowmo at 720p because it has *RAM built into the sensor* but it won't do 4K at 60 fps. And the S8 camera is just so low res. WTF dude, the front camera on the XZ Premium is higher res than the back camera on the S8. They're still shipping 12MP in 2017? That's courage right there.

Anyway, screen looks nice. I wish Sony would take a hint with the bezel-less stuff. I'm waiting to see if Google shats out another disappointing Pixel. Odds are I'm getting the XZ Premium to replace my nearly 4 year old Nexus 5.

I think the bezel-less screen will become the norm over the next year.

If you play Vidya on PC, check out TrinusVR. It will help you stream PC games to your phone (to be used as VR headset). It's pretty decent.

How much does the always on display hurt battery life on the regular S8?

I have it disabled and get really cozy battery life.
