Any of you guys know? I'm a web developer and know most stuff. Just lay it on me.
What do you mean?
>make website
>allow comments or whatever without registration
>don't store IP addresses for more than a day
>have a way to cover your ass against CP spammers

I think I just mean a static website like using jekyl or hexo or a static react site. How can I host some website like that anonymously (just for like a political blog)? Should I use surge? heroku? aws? godaddy? digitalcoean? does that even matter or is anonymity all about domain registration?

I don't want to make a blog on like tumblr or blogger because they can pull that 'shut it down' crap.

What do you mean by anonymous? If you host your own website then you won't get shut down unless you host illegal content.

Like anonymous hosting?
Probably use a VPS or something.

It's just for like anonymous political blogging. Nothing illegal. I meant, I know people can see info about web stuff using whois, which I think can be made hidden with the domain registrar if you pay. I was just wondering what are some of the things I need to watch out for in order to cover my ass.

If you don't care about attracting a huge audience and privacy is a big concern, might want to think about making it an onion or i2p site.

Yeah, some web hosting providers offer whois privacy, for a price of course.
